Romania - ASOCIATIA EDUCATIONAL-ECOLOGICA ECOTRANSILVANIA

Ecotransilvania has been running education, research and conservation projects in Romania, since its establishment in 2003. The association focuses especially on the protection of traditional rural landscapes in Transylvania and their outstanding cultural and natural heritage. We work in disadvantaged rural communities with low economic development and large rroma populations. The team of 11 staff and 20 members have expertise in history, anthropology, rural development and ecology, as well as formal and informal education of young people and adults.
